CPDs

What is a CPD? A commitment by a professional to undertake Continuing Professional Development to keep ahead in a competitive market.

As CEDIA Outreach Instructors we are pleased to be able to offer Designing the Connected Home course, which has been accredited by RIBA (Royal Institute of British Architects) and the BIID (British Institute of Interior Designer).

Formally known as the ‘Designing Integrated Future-Ready Homes’ CPD, this new material has been updated and refreshed to reflect our ever-changing industry.

Aimed at design and build professionals, including architects and interior designers, the CPD explores the design and installation of technology in the connected home. It questions why good design is so essential in the connected home and the possibilities for integrating technology in projects.

By the end of the CPD attendees should have a greater understanding of:

  • Why architects should discuss technology with their clients
  • The possibilities for technology in projects and the associated processes

Do you want to keep ahead in this competitive and fast moving marketplace? If you are interested in improving your understanding of the connected environment, please do get in contact to book a session (these are currently being conducted online)
